ECSU Degree Program Requirements

Criminal Justice

Edgecombe Community College (ECC) has partnered with Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) to allow ECC graduates of the Criminal Justice Degree Program (A55180) to be admitted into ECSU’s Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Program, a totally on-line degree program at ECSU. Below are specific requirements for this program.

Requirements:

  • Students must complete their Criminal Justice Degree Program (A55180) at ECC with a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 based on a 4.0 scale.
  • Students must meet all ECSU admissions requirements.
  • ECSU will accept up to 65 semester hour of credit from the ECC degree program, for courses earning at least a grade of a C.
  • ECSU courses accepted from ECC are based on the agreed upon degree crosswalk.

Business Administration

Below are specific requirements for this program.

  • Students must complete their Business Administration Degree Program (A25120) at ECC with a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 based on a 4.0 scale.
  • Students must meet all ECSU admissions requirements.
  • ECSU will accept up to 65 semester hour of credit from the ECC degree program, for courses earning at least a grade of a C.

Birth Through Kindergarten

  • Students must complete their Early Childhood Education Degree Program (A55220) at ECC with a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 based on a 4.0 scale.
  • Students must meet all ECSU admissions requirements.
