NC Symphony Holiday Pops Set for December 5

Join ECC on December 5 for the NC Symphony Holiday Pops concert.

Enjoy seasonal and classical favorites during an evening of holiday music with the North Carolina Symphony on December 5 at Edgecombe Community College.

The concert is the second event in Season Fourteen of the Edgecombe Performance Series.

The beloved North Carolina Symphony Holiday Pops concert is an annual tradition in Tarboro. Led by Associate Conductor Wesley Schulz, the concert will feature familiar favorites, including selections from Irving Berlin, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, and Leroy Anderson, among others.

Familiar melodies like “The Christmas Song,” “White Christmas,” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” performed by a full symphony orchestra are sure to lift your holiday spirits. The program also features two arrangements by Chicago based composer James M. Stephenson, including “Holiday Overture” and “A Holly Jolly Sing Along.”

This year’s concert takes place on Wednesday, December 5, at 7:30 p.m. in Keihin Auditorium on the Tarboro campus. General admission tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students (Pre-K through college).
