Medical Assisting Students Assist with Blood Drive

Medical Assisting students at Edgecombe Community College volunteered at an American Red Cross Blood Drive sponsored by Coopers Elementary School’s fourth grade classes on February 28. Three students and Medical Assisting Instructor Julie Walker donated blood to help out. The fourth graders surpassed their donation goal of 45 units with a total of 54 units of blood.
