Honor Society Holds Highway Cleanup

Fifteen Edgecombe Community College students and staff, along with the ECC eagle mascot, participated in the fall Adopt-A-Highway cleanup on Saturday sponsored by the College’s chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. The Alpha Omega Nu chapter at ECC has been responsible for a three-mile stretch of road in front of the Tarboro campus since 2000 and sponsors cleanup events at least twice a year.
