Fourteen students completed a recent EMT-Paramedic class at Edgecombe Community College. The one-year EMT-Paramedic course includes classroom instruction, clinical rotations, and an EMS field internship. Agencies represented included the Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office, Pinetops Police Department, Vidant Edgecombe Hospital Police, and Wilson County Sheriff’s Office, among others.
