The WDTC operates several programs with funds from the Workforce Investment Act. The Dislocated Worker Program established provisions for assisting dislocated workers in training and/or employment for re-entering the workforce either by institutional training or our On-the-Job training program. The Adult OJT program provides assistance for On-the-Job training for economic disadvantaged individuals who are underemployed or have been unemployed for the past six-months. Our Exemplary Youth Program (YTEP – Youth Training and Education Program) is designed with educational and training activities to increase marketability in the job market and to raise awareness personally, socially, and professionally. Program participants may qualify for financial assistance, which includes tuition, books, fees, and childcare and transportation assistance.
