Position: Dean - Business, Industry, and Technologies (Full-Time)
Available: July 1, 2015
Description: One of three deans reporting to the Vice President of Instruction, the Dean of Business, Industry, and Technologies provides supervision, direction, and leadership for all programs within the division: Business and Accounting; Cosmetic Arts; Information Technology Studies; Office Administration/Medical Office Administration; Construction; Industry and Manufacturing; Customized Training; and Small Business/Workforce Development.
Qualifications: MINIMUM - Master’s degree in one of programs supervised; at least 3 years teaching in one of the division’s programs at a community college; at least 5 years supervisory experience in a college setting; demonstrated effective communications and interpersonal skills; and proficiency in using computer software.
PREFERRED - Master’s degree in one of the programs supervised; at least 5 years teaching in one of the division’s programs at a community college; at least 8 years supervisory experience in a college setting; demonstrated effective communications and interpersonal skills; proficiency in using computer software; experience teaching with Moodle and WebAdvisor; familiarity with Datatel; and Career Readiness Credential.
