Position: Administrative Assistant II – Admissions (Full-Time)
Available: September 1, 2014
Description: Serve as initial contact on Tarboro Campus; greet visitors, answer telephone, take messages and answer inquiries; provide information to prospective students and direct them to appropriate college personnel. Provide admissions counseling to prospective students in admissions procedures and requirements; perform a variety of duties related to admissions and all student services areas; interface with public, faculty, counselors, and all other staff to provide information or assistance; establish and maintain files on all curriculum applicants on the Tarboro Campus.
Qualifications: MINIMUM - Associate degree in Business or related field; at least 1 year working in service job with proven effective customer service skills; and proficiency with computer software.
PREFERRED - Associate degree; at least 3 years working in service job with proven effective customer service skills; work experience in student services at a community college; proficiency with computer software; Datatel experience; and Career Readiness Credential.
