Position: Sustainable Agriculture Instructor (Part-Time)
Available: August 22, 2013
Description: Teach classes in AGR 130: Alternative Agricultural Production and HOR 166: Soils and Fertilizers in Fall Semester 2013 and AGR 160: Plant Science and AGR 265: Organic Crop Production in Spring Semester 2014. Traditional classes meeting on Tarboro Campus days and/or evenings; potential exists for these to develop into online courses. These courses comprise our Sustainable Agriculture Certificate program.
Qualifications: MINIMUM - BS degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field; and work experience in plant science; soil science, and crop production.
PREFERRED - MS degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field; relevant professional experience; plus Career Readiness Credential.
