Two lucky golfers might soon be driving a new Honda Civic SI or a new Dodge Ram Quad Cab.

These are the prizes for a hole-in-one at the Edgecombe Community College Foundation’s 21st Annual Golf Tournament set for Thursday, September 21, at Maccripine Country Club in Pinetops.

The 2006 Honda Civic SI is being donated by Keihin Carolina System Technology in Tarboro. The 2006 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 1500SXT is being donated by Farris Motors in Rocky Mount. Other prizes include a set of Callaway golf clubs, a Barcalounger chair, a golf lamp from Bulluck’s, pictures, and cash awards.

The Four-Person Modified Super Ball tournament is one of the more popular tournaments in eastern North Carolina. With both morning and afternoon flights, the annual tournament generates more than $20,000 toward ECC student scholarships. Serving on the 2006 ECC Golf Tournament Committee are Tommy Anderson, Karen Andrus, Bobby Daughtridge, Mark Doughtie, Dr. Deborah Lamm, and Charlie Harrell.

Tee-times are set for 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Morning and afternoon slots are still available. To register a team, call the ECC Foundation Office at 823-5166, ext. 278.
