Pilot Club of Tarboro Supports ECC Nursing Scholarship
The Pilot Club of Tarboro recently made a donation to the club’s nursing
scholarship at Edgecombe Community College. Shown from left are Karen Andrus,
executive director of the ECC Foundation; Vicki Dougherty, president of the Pilot
Club; Marsha Cherry, projects coordinator; and Dr. Deborah Lamm, ECC president.
In addition to the $500 annual gift, the Pilot Club gave an extra $375 in support
of the scholarship. These extra funds came from the club’s Good News Jar;
members make donations to the jar whenever they have good news to share with
the group.
