ECC Announces Student Ambassadors

 
Edgecombe Community College is proud to announce its student Ambassadors for 2006-2007, an appointment that recognizes academic achievement. Ambassadors are (l-r) Anna Wilson, Human Services, Scotland Neck; Tracy Pender, Human Services, Rocky Mount; Theresa Glast, College Transfer, Tarboro; Vanessa Elsey-Taylor, Criminal Justice, Rocky Mount; Jason Hackney, Radiography, Rocky Mount; and Velma Worsley, College Transfer, Bethel. Shown far right is Lesley Wirt, Ambassador adviser and student recruiter. To become an Ambassador, a student must maintain a 3.5 grade point average. As part of their duties, the students give campus tours and assist with college activities. For their service, these students receive free tuition for the fall semester, a blazer, and an Ambassador name tag pin.
