Multicultural College Day Draws Hispanic/Latino Students

 
Thirty-one Edgecombe Hispanic/Latino high school students attended Multicultural College Day at Edgecombe Community College on November 9. Multicultural College Day is a partnership between ECC and Edgecombe County Public Schools. Superintendent Dr. Craig Witherspoon participated along with Edgecombe Early College High School staff. Students heard presentations by Dr. Deborah Lamm, ECC president, Dr. Kristi Snuggs, ECC vice president of instruction, and other college officials; toured campuses in Tarboro and Rocky Mount; and ate lunch before heading back to their schools.
