Radiography Grads Achieve 100 Percent Passing Rate for Third Consecutive Year

All members of the Radiography Class of 2007 at Edgecombe Community College passed the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification exam.

This marks the third consecutive year that ECC radiography graduates have posted a pass rate of 100 percent. The graduates are certified nationally as radiographers, which enables them to work anywhere in the United States or further their education in related areas such as radiation therapy, ultrasound, CT/MRI, nuclear medicine, or cardiovascular interventional radiography.

Eleven out of fourteen of these students plan to further their education in nuclear medicine, CT/MRI, and cardiovascular radiography at Pitt Community College, the Edgecombe Commmunity College/Johnston Community College CT/MRI Consortium, and Johnston Community College.
