Visit an ECC Open House, First Is March 8

Edgecombe Community College announces Open House events for prospective students in March, April, May, July, and August.

The first event is Saturday, March 8, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the Rocky Mount campus.

Visitors to Open House will learn about the admissions process and how to obtain financial aid, take a campus tour, and visit with faculty members and current students.

“Our goal in holding Open Houses is to give prospective students an opportunity to learn more about Edgecombe Community College,” says ECC President Dr. Deborah Lamm. “For students who are finishing high school or for those who need new job skills, we offer programs that are relevant and convenient, including online classes.”

ECC Open House dates are:

• Saturday, March 8, 2008 - Rocky Mount campus
10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., registration at 9:30 a.m.

• Saturday, April 19, 2008 - Tarboro campus
10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., registration at 9:30 a.m.

• Tuesday, May 6, 2008 - Tarboro campus
5:30 to 7:30 p.m., registration at 5 p.m.

• Tuesday, July 8, 2008 - Tarboro campus
5:30 to 7:30 p.m., registration at 5 p.m.

• Tuesday, August 5, 2008 - Rocky Mount campus
