Coach Speaks to College Leadership Group

 
Sandra Langley (right), athletic director, girl’s basketball coach, and PE/health teacher at SouthWest Edgecombe High School, recently spoke to a group of Edgecombe Community College employees in a leadership program called the Educational Leadership Initiative (ELI). Shown with Langley is Kathy Webb, who was a member of ELI last year. Webb, Early College liaison and high school coordinator at the college, worked at SouthWest prior to joining ECC and coordinated the presentation. ELI was developed to strengthen employees’ knowledge of the community college system and its management. ELI also focuses on the role of management and gives employees the opportunity to work with senior level administrators in a mentoring capacity.
