First ECC Alumni Gathering Draws Forty

 
Curtis Powell, an alumnus of Edgecombe Community College, talks with ECC President Dr. Deborah Lamm at the college’s first alumni association gathering on March 25. About 40 individuals attended the cookout and information session. “We hope this will be the first of many alumni events,” said ECC President Dr. Deborah Lamm. Powell attended ECC in the early ‘80s and holds two associate degrees from the college, one in horticulture and one in business. He went on to obtain two bachelor’s degrees in business and accounting from N.C. Wesleyan College.
