100% Online Student Responsibilities

The following applies to ECC students taking a 100% online course

To insure that you get off to a good start and have a good online educational
experience at ECC, you need to make sure that...

1.  you have requested the creation of your IMAIL student email account, you
     have verified you can log into your IMAIL student email account and
     you can send and receive messages. The fact that your IMAIL email address
     has been entered in BlackBoard does not prove that you have a working
     IMAIL email account.


2.  you have verified your email address in BlackBoard in the Personal Information
    
area in the Tools area is correct and, if not, updated it.

3.  you have messaged or emailed your instructor(s) to make sure they have your
     correct phone number including area code.

4.  you have logged into your BlackBoard course and completed some activity assigned
     by the instructor before the 10% date.

5.  you have received an email from your instructor by no later than 5 days after the start
     of the semester.  If not, you need to take immediate steps to contact the instructor.

6.  In all email messages to instructors, you include your name and course number as
     the first line of your message.
