Edgecombe Performance Series

The Edgecombe Performance Series, now in its ninth season, is an annual series of performing arts events that take place in beautiful Keihin Auditorium, a 1,020-seat concert hall located on the Tarboro campus of Edgecombe Community College. The purpose of the series is to help fulfill the cultural needs of ECC’s service area, as stated in the College’s mission statement, by presenting quality performances in a variety of disciplines at affordable prices.

Keihin Auditorium’s grand opening took place in May of 2004, with an inaugural concert by the North Carolina Symphony. In December of that year, ECC presented its first major popular music concert, featuring the one and only B.B. King, which sold out over 60 days in advance.
