Annual Fundraisers

Each year the Foundation hosts several fundraisers aimed at generating valuable scholarship dollars.

Annual Giving Campaign
This important annual campaign solicits the financial support of individuals, organizations, businesses, and industries in the community to sustain and strengthen scholarships, mini-grants, the Ambassador program, and other Foundation initiatives. The Foundation, in turn, says thanks by hosting an appreciation luncheon and a reception and performance for major donors.

Campus Fund Drive
ECC employees generate more than $10,000 each spring through the Campus Fund Drive.

Golf Tournament
One of the more popular golf tournaments in eastern North Carolina, this fall tournament is a major fundraiser for the Foundation. With both morning and afternoon flights, this four-man superball tournament generates about $20,000 toward student scholarships.

Saying Thanks
Any organization that has benefitted from the generous contributions of others understands the importance of saying "thank you."

Business After Hours
In an effort to reach out to as many supporters as possible, the Foundation sponsors a Business After Hours each year through the Tarboro Edgecombe Chamber of Commerce or the Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce. This is the Foundation's way of bringing area residents to the college and thanking them for their faithful contributions.
