Blackboard Login Procedure/Information
Usernames
and Passwords
Edgecombe Community College’s online courses are administered
through the Blackboard course management system. All student usernames
and passwords are constructed in the following manner (effective Summer
2008):
STUDENTS TAKING EDGECOMBE
COMMUNITY COLLEGE Curriculum
Classes:
- Your Blackboard Login will be the same as your MyEdge Login. Your
first initial last name and first four digits of your date of birth.
Example: John Smith Born May 18, 1990 would have a login of jsmith0518
- Your Password is the 7-digit Datatel Colleague student
ID number which is printed on your registration schedule (top left
of the form).
To find your default login information, click here and fill out the
form to obtain your MyEdge E-mail Login and Blackboard login:
NOTE: Always use lowercase letters
when typing your name into Blackboard
ALL STUDENTS: You will not be able to access your
online course until the first day of classes.
