Adult Basic Education (ABE)

Adult Basic Education (ABE) is a program of instruction designed to address the educational needs of adults seeking improvement in reading, writing, speaking, problem solving, and computation skills. The ABE program provides educational opportunities to adults functioning below high school levels, thus allowing them to function more effectively in society, on the job, or in the family setting.

The classes are open enrollment with no cost for registration. Materials are provided by the Basic Skills Program. They are selected and prepared with special emphasis on adult needs and interests.
