Community Services

Edgecombe Community College is but one of many community agencies dedicated to public service. The college is always concerned with identifying community potentials and community needs, drawing together resources at the college and other agencies to create new educational opportunities.

ECC is proud to be looked upon as a resource agency in the area. The college’s employees, facilities, and equipment belong to the people of Edgecombe County, and the college encourages area residents to take advantage of the resources of the college.

Community services courses are offered through a grant provided by the State of North Carolina. All community services classes cost $20 per student, except for those classes that are self-supporting. Seniors 65 years of age or older take these classes free of charge.
