Curriculum

Sustainability principles have been incorporated into a number of curriculum programs, including Automotive Systems Technology, Automotive Body Repair (a.k.a. Collision Repair), Historic Preservation Technology, Manufacturing Technology, as well as biology, and geography courses. Individual courses include:

Continuing Education

Edgecombe Community College offers the following programs to prepare workers, business owners, and entrepreneurs with the skills they need to compete in the “Green Economy”:

  • Building Operator Certification
  • Residential Weatherization (prepares students for BPI Certification)
  • Historic Preservation Trades
  • Sustainable Farming and Gardening
  • Lead Renovator (RRP)
  • ISO 14000 Environmental Management Systems
